24 Hour SkiErg Marathon for Puerto Rico
Water supplies are limited and people are forced to draw drinking water from rivers. We plan to help raise awareness and offer relief by doing what we do best: hard work.
Starting at 11am Friday, Oct 6th we will begin a 24-hour marathon on the SkiErg. We will not let the flywheel stop spinning until 11am Saturday Oct 7th.
People are asked to sign up for shifts (SIGN UP HERE) to make sure we get as many people as needed to keep it going overnight. You can choose to go it alone or team up with friends and family in relay fashion. Just keep the wheel spinning!
You are welcome and encouraged to “camp out” at the gym, bringing a sleeping bag, supplies, even a tent if you like. CFTC will provide fun, games, and refreshments for participants until the event concludes.
You may sign up for multiple shifts and are encouraged to hang out as a “relief” skier anytime!
Donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go to the purchase of water purification units and sent to Puerto Rico via the MN National Guard.
Online Donations can be made through PayPal (for a fee) HERE.
