Joe is highly experienced and passionate about CrossFit and maximizing human potential, especially when it comes to the members of CrossFit Twin Cities. Joe has an athletic background in Taekwondo; he was captain of the University of Iowa Taekwondo Competition Team in 2000 and 2001. He brings his coaching and leadership skills to CrossFit Twin Cities with the goal of helping people realize that many of their limitations are self-imposed and see them gain a confidence through fitness that translates into real, everyday life.

Coach Jenni started doing Crossfit at home when she lived in Connecticut. After moving to the Twin Cities area in September 2015, she continued to do Crossfit at home until she joined CFTC in January 2016. In previous years, Jenni used to be a Dancer and was used to having a routine to follow. It was always a frustrating guessing game at globogyms to figure out what machines to use and how many reps to do. For her, Crossfit was like dancing, there was a routine and the coach tells you what you need to be doing for each portion of the class which she gravitated to.

The Crossfit and Community support is what makes and keeps Crossfit special for Jenni because she was doing it on her own for so long. She loves to have the community around her and working out with a group vs doing all on her own.

In the gym, you’ll see Jenni doing Olympic Weightlifting and Gymnastics.

Jenni just loves helping people, that’s why as a coach she loves to see athlete’s progress and helping them along the way. Her favorite part of coaching is seeing those “A-ha!” moments when something clicks for an athlete.
